Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will host a free community meal Thursday, April 18, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the downstairs Fellowship Hall. Included will be a taco bar, dessert and a beverage. Carry-outs will be available.
A Maundy Thursday communion service will begin at 7 pm in the sanctuary.
On Good Friday, April 17, at 7 pm Studio 3:16 invites the public to a special fine arts service. The studio will present the Stations of the Cross through art, dance, spoken word and music.
On Easter a sunrise service will be held at 7 am at Pleasant Hill Church, five miles southeast of Jefferson off Redwood Ave. Youngsters are invited for an Easter egg hunt at the church in Jefferson at 9 am, followed by a traditional worship service at 10 am.
